Why support World Land Trust?

Direct Action to save threatened habitats

  • We take direct action to save tropical forests and other wildlife habitats: we buy it, acre by acre.
  • The land we buy is protected indefinitely as private reserves owned and managed by local organisations for the benefit of both wildlife and people.

Our conservation projects

Wetland on the REGUA reserve. Read more about this reserve here.Brazil: Only 7% of the Atlantic rainforest remains intact,

Buenaventura Reserve. Read more about the tropical forest project in Ecuador here.Ecuador: 80% of Ecuador's tropical forests are already gone,

leaving many species globally threatened, so we need to act quickly to save what is left.
