Mark Carwardine

Zoologist Mark Carwardine is an environmental activist, an award-winning writer, a TV and radio presenter, a widely published wildlife photographer, a best-selling author, and a BBC Wildlife magazine columnist. The author of more than 50 books, he is best known for presenting the popular BBC-TV series Last Chance to See with actor and comedian Stephen Fry, and the weekly half-hour programme Nature on BBC Radio 4.

“I’ve spent forty years in conservation and have worked with many different environmental organisations all over the world. I can honestly say that WLT is among the best of the best. Punching way above its weight, its approach to conservation is ground-breaking and highly effective. Quite simply, it gets things done. I’m honoured to be a supporter.”
