Caring for the environment and ethical practices are very important to Opal Print and it recycles, upcycles, disposes and produces everything as responsibly as possible.

Having produced numerous jobs over the years in conjunction with World Land Trust, it seemed the next sensible step was to address its own carbon impact by becoming a certified Carbon Balanced Printing Company.

Driven by a love of uncoated and tactile paper, Opal’s investment in LED UV printing technology has further improved the exceptional quality of print achieved on these stocks. Enhanced definition, greater contrast, bolder colours and richer blacks combine to produce fresh, engaging print that stands out.  Environmentally it is also a winner. The introduction of LED UV technology has seen the total electricity consumed in Opal’s business reduce by 25 per cent in the first eighteen months since installation!
