Alder Tree

Alder Tree create award-winning fruit cream ices made at Alder Carr Farm, an independent family-run fruit farm operating in rural Suffolk since 1981.

Alder Tree fruit cream ices are produced using traditional artisan methods and are made from 100 per cent British fruit, cream and sugar. The fruit is grown at Alder Carr Farm as well as two local farms within 20 miles. Available in delicious fruity flavours such as Damson, Blackcurrant and Pear and Vanilla, Alder Carr fruit cream ices have received more than 50 awards for their great flavour.

Founded in 2007, the company operates on the belief that their business activities should be carried out in an ethical and sustainable way with minimal impact on the environment. The business employs a robust CSR Policy including a recycling programme, FSC-certified packaging, usage of renewable electricity and generation of its own electricity with solar panels.

Since 2008, Alder Tree has offset the unavoidable emissions associated with its general operations through WLT’s Carbon Balanced programme. Additionally they have supported the Trust by donating fruit cream ices for WLT events.
