The company trades ethically and sustainably and has been awarded numerous certifications recognizing their fair trade and cruelty free practices and the use of certified organic ingredients in their products. Their iconic blue bottles and other main packaging is recyclable, they offer a return scheme for difficult to recycle at home elements such as pumps and sachets, and a refill option for two of their most popular wash-off products in-store.

Neal’s Yard Remedies has used Carbon Balanced Paper for their gift boxes and product cartons since 2012 and supports Buy an Acre through various campaigns. By 2018, their cumulative support had saved more than 1 million square metres of threatened habitat.
